Outlook 2003 Bug

I've been having an issue with MicroSoft Outlook that I don't have with Mozilla Thunderbird. I like to save copies of my email on my server just in case something happens to my machine. That way all I have to do is reinstall a mail application and it will download all my mail again. With that in mind I would also like Outlook to delete mail on the server when I delete from Outlook.

FYI you Set this up by clicking Tools -> Email Accounts -> View or Change existing e-mail accounts -> Select the account to edit -> Click Change Then click the "More Settings" button:

Then click the Advanced tab and select how you want it saved under "delivery"

But as I said above, the "Remove from server when deleted from 'Deleted Items'" May not work with your POP3 Server it doesn't with mine.

The only solution I was able to come up with for this was to either use Thunderbird only or change the setting to have it delete the messages from the server after 'x' number of days. That part of the setting works great.

Well, until Thunderbird comes out with a calendar function to rival Outlook, I guess this is the only solution.
