There is a contest going on over at Coppyblogger.com..

Can you tell a story in exactly 140 characters?

That's the idea behind the first ever @copyblogger Twitter writing contest.

It should be a great exercise and a lot of fun. Being constrained to exactly 140 characters will spark your creative juices and force you to focus stringently on word choice, sentence structure, and even punctuation.

So, twitter up your story and go enter!

This week's Friday funny takes a slightly different direction.... Don't know if these are real or not.. probably not... But here goes:

The Stella Awards are named after 81 year-old Stella Liebeck, who spilled hot coffee on herself and successfully sued McDonald's (in NM). I was looking over the new back-up utility in Windows Vista.. And looked into the help files to see this:

• Will automatic backups run if my computer is turned off?
• No. If your computer is turned off during the scheduled backup time, automatic backups will not run. However, the next time you turn on your computer, you will be able to back up your files and resume the normal backup schedule.

I just want to know why... Who asked that question once that they needed to put it in the help docs.

If your computer is off.... It's off. Period.

Here's a Useless post for everyone.. I found a site: http://www.sp-studio.de/ that will let you create your own South Park character. Pretty good time waister.

Here's mine for the day.. This guy reflects my general mood when waking this morning.
