Since I've started having clients asking me about upgrading to Windows Vista. And, come to find out, I have to assist in the upgrading of an entire office network to Windows Vista I decided that I need to immerse myself in this new OS. You know.. since 1/2 my business is about PC support. Might want to know about this. Ya think. So, I am going to build myself a new computer with Windows Vista Ultimate.
I'm doing a new PC because of the support issue. As it stands currently, 90% of my clients operate on Windows XP and about 10% are still on Windows 2000. So, I really need to keep my XP machine in tact. I could dual boot but that would require almost as much work to get going as building a new machine. So… looks like a new PC.
I've chosen Windows Vista Ultimate because it contains everything from every version. I will add updates about this as I progress.. Hardware chosen, as I add software to this machine, what problems I fall into.. etc. So.. Check back. This may be the never ending Friday Funny….
