Site of the week: Let Me Google That for You

February 20, 2011 By Robert Owen

Picture it,  you’re working hard on a project – totally focused on… whatever.  And somebody says… “Hey, [insert your name here],  how many days are there in February?”  …  or, they say something like: “Yo, [insert name here],  what is the capital of Wisconsin?”  or even maybe something like:  “Hey, [your name here again], where can I find the world’s largest ball of yarn?”

Hey, these aren’t bad questions, right?  No, they’re perfectly fine.  And as such, being the nice guy/gal you are,  you stop doing whatever you are doing and find the info for them. Knowing good and well they could type the question into Google themselves and get an answer in 30 seconds.  It can get a little old though, right?  Well, this website breaks up the staleness of that task.  It adds a little humor into the otherwise disruptive task.   I’m talking about a site called, Let me Google that for you.com .

Let me Google that for you

For example,  let’s look at that first question we hypothesized:  “How many days are there in February?”
The answer you could give is : http://lmgtfy.com/?q=How+many+days+are+in+February

See, now isn’t that more entertaining?
